How authentic are your sandals?
It is very important to us that we stay true to the tradition of the Capri sandal. Our soles and jewelry are manufactured by the same vendors that most of Capri cobblers use on the island.

What materials do you use for your sandals?
As in Capri, the heels are a combination of wood wrapped in leather and our soles are made by stitching, never gluing, thinner layers of leather soles together. The soles also contain a metal shank for durability and support. The straps are made of genuine calf leather or lambskin then applied to the soles for a custom fit.

Are the sandals really made to order?
Yes. Each pair of sandals are made by hand in our Tampa location when an order is placed, making each pair unique.

Are sandal orders returnable or am I able to cancel an order?
No. Regretfully, because each pair of sandals are custom made to order no returns or cancellations are permitted.

How do I know what size to choose?
In the Custom Fit section, there are outlines available of our soles. Print them and compare to your feet. Be sure to put your heel all the way in the back and make sure your toes stay within a 1/4" of the outline. If you think the size is exact, it is best to try to go up a size for comparison.

How shall I store my sandals?
Tresca will provide you with a custom bag made especially for our sandals. We suggest you use this bag for storage as well as travel. Be sure to keep your sandals away from direct sunlight or moist environments.

Do I need to clean my sandals with anything specific?
In general, your sandals should not need cleaning. We do not recommend you clean them with any chemicals. If you need to, using only water you can wipe them clean with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure they are completely dry before wearing them.

Shipping and Refunds

Can I cancel my order?
No. Each pair of sandals are custom made to order. The soles and jewelry once attached cannot be reused.

Can I return my order and get a refund?
If your order has been correctly fulfilled based on your correspondence, regretfully no. Every sandal is made to order and is unique in design. If there has been a mistake on our part (wrong sole size, wrong jewelry, etc.), we will do everything possible to correct the situation.

How long will it take for my sandals to ship?
We will ship sandals out from our store in Tampa, Florida, USA within 3 business days of receiving your order.

What happens if my sandal size is wrong?
If the mistake is ours, we will gladly replace the soles and take care of all shipping at our expense. If the size sent is what was ordered, we will exchange an unworn sole, but the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs.

What is your Privacy Policy?
Tresca Italia does not share the personal information of its users with any unaffiliated third parties for their promotional purposes. We share your information with unaffiliated third parties for payment and shipping of your purchased product only. You should visit the site periodically to see if there has been a change to this policy. Otherwise, use of this site constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
